How much I loved her. How much I’ve always loved her. But I didn’t. I couldn’t. I just wasn’t made that way.
Instead… I claimed her. Teased her. Taunted her. Worshipped her. Until… I broke her.
My best friend. My savior. My girl.
From my mind to my heart, to every single bone in my body. She owned me. I was hers.
Every look. Every kiss. Every touch. Every tear.
It was always her.
The only thing I feared more than losing her was forgetting her. I hated how much I needed her.
She was mine. Always and forever.
I hated her then.
But Harley Jameson was about to find out how much…
I LOVED her now.
** I WAS GIVEN AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW **
If I thought I had a book hangover from “Hate You Then” the first book in this Duet, it was nothing to the feels and emotions I felt in this one. The first book was setting the tone for the anguish and what is really going on in this part of Jackson and Harleys journey, and it makes me love them even more on so many different levels.
I love how there is so much more depth in this story and the twist and turns keep coming and they do make it an amazing read.
There is so much I want to talk about, but if I do I feel I will give away everything and anything…. Uhg!
I Will say that I love how this details how past mistakes from childhood can come back and rear their ugly head. It also shows really how people do grow up and change, priorities are different as you grow and you really see what is important in life.
I love this book, and I love that it is true love, soul mates and just an amazing Story for everyone to read!
One look into Everly Williams’s big brown eyes and I knew I’d do anything to protect her. And for eight years I did. She was my world. My best friend.
But afraid I’d lose her, I held on too tight. Became a dark cloud blocking her sun. So I did what I needed to, and walked away. I hurt us both.
Now I’m home, and need Everly back in my life. Only everything is different. We’re different. My body burns for her when she’s near. And after one explosive kiss, I know she feels it too. I’ll do whatever it takes to earn her trust again.
Because I don’t want what we had before. I want it all…for a lifetime.
A best friend’s to lovers romance in the sexy new Rocktown Ink series.
**I WAS GIVEN AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW **
I am a sucker for friends who turn in to lovers because there is that established sense of love and devotion to one another. I like the spin on this one that there was not one that was pining the whole time for the other. There was a natural love that grew, there was conflict that made my heart break for Everly, she truly did feel abandoned by Dane, who was doing what he thought was best, because she was his best friend, his world. He lived to protect her and make sure she was ok at all times. Even if he over stepped the limits of what was really needed.
Dane is a sweet and broken man, who has watched over Everly for years, when an incident involving one of her less desirable dates at the time, caused Dane to make a call that broke him almost as much as it broke Eves. Who now felt abandoned by EVERYONE who ever loved her, she had to start over again and then after 18 months, Dane was back and wanted so very much to get his best friend back.
She agreed if he taught her how to date, and one kiss was all that it took for him to want more than just to be her friend, and was ready to work slow and hard to get her on his level.
Dane and Everly are not my favorite dream couple, I was sad to see it come to an end.

her quirky antique bed.
Aidan’s large presence loomed over her. He supported his weight
on extended arms, dipping the mattress beneath her shoulders. Her legs,

Her arms found their way to his neck, stopping his retreat. “I

She was breathless and undone. Because of him.

First comes marriage, then comes…love? Divorce? Let’s pretend this never happened …
They say opposites attract and that couldn’t be truer when it comes to CeCe and Shep. But what happens when the two most anti-marriage people in the French Quarter start enjoying the act?
I never planned on getting married. After my dad deserted my family the day before my tenth birthday, and I watched my mother fall to pieces over him, I decided it wasn’t worth the heartache. Then Shepard Rhys-Jones, who ghosted me two years ago, declares he needs to marry someone to claim his inheritance, and I drunkenly offer myself up as his wife.
He was the best I’ve ever had and now, he’s all mine… but only for the next year.
I never planned on getting married. It was one business transaction I had no desire to close. Yet, here I am… sitting in a bar in New Orleans… seriously considering making CeCe Calhoun my wife. If we can manage to stay married for a year, I’ll be one hundred million dollars richer and finally have the freedom to forge my own path, separate from the Rhys-Jones name.
She’s the only woman I’ve struggled to forget, and she’s finally mine. For now.
Is it possible for this fake marriage to be real?
** I WAS GIVEN AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW **
Shep was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and the world at his feet. Cece has had to work hard for everything and anything in her life. Yet they both have such a skewed vision on weddings and marriage. They are very much the opposites in every social sense, but emotionally they were on the same level, and they didn’t even know it.
I love how they are together and how this plan was hatched, it was a bit harder for me to really get into it but only because I have been reading a lot of instant love books and this was a slow burn that took its time for the emotions to catch up to the physical. And there is a lot of physical there that leave you semi fanning your face, (Not Safe To Read At Work! LOL)
They have a great mutual friend group that adds so much to their story without taking away from it. I did feel that the book itself was slow to start, mainly on the emotional level, and it was dragged out longer than needed in certain aspects but skipped over others that didn’t really get an answer. Then it also felt very rushed out at the end, and even the epilogue didn’t really wrap up many of the unanswered questions I had… Not that they were really important, but it felt a little un finished.
NOW, it is only September 24th, and I have read 21 books!! SO, instead of Listing them all…. I am going to share the Top 5 books…. But there is already a Cheat… One “Book” in this will be a trilogy and YOU will READ it and YOU will LIKE it!!
Here is my Beautiful List!
ONE: All The Forbidden Things By Lesley Jones
When all that you want, is all that’s forbidden…
I’ve known him my entire life. Before marriage. Before fatherhood. Before betrayal. Now, he’s one of rock’s bad-boys trying to be good. Trying to be the best father he can for his daughter. He’s my brother’s best friend. He’s my boss. He has a wife. Max isn’t mine to have, but I want him all the same. And I haven’t survived all that I have to not go after what I want.
Her story is a tragedy, mine’s a publicity disaster.
Just when I needed her most, she walked back into my life, and the timing couldn’t be worse. With a newborn baby, a divorce, an album to record, and a world tour to plan, I don’t need the distraction. She’s off limits. She’s my best friend’s little sister. She’s my nanny. Billie’s a golden drop of sexy sun on a grey autumn day, tempting me into the light and a life full of possibilities. A life not meant for us.
TWO: Tales Of Olympus Trilogy By: Lee Savino and Stasia Black
INNOCENCE: I’m king of the criminal underworld. I always get what I want. And she’s my obsession. Cora is new to the city of sin. Her innocent blue eyes beg for me to claim her. But I’m not the billionaire she thinks I am. There’s a darkness within me. And Cora is a shining light. She’s beautiful. A virgin. I’m ruthless. A beast. She found me for a reason. She’ll be my queen. I’ll give her everything that her heart desires. Except for one thing. Her freedom. She’s mine to keep, and I’m never letting her go.
AWAKENING When a rock god asks Cora to help find his missing fiance, she befriends both a stripper and a hacker genius to help her search the city of Olympus. But will they save the woman in time with the evil of the underworld standing in their way?
QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD The King of the Underworld saved me from the streets, Treated me like a princess, And locked me in a tower. Then he turned into a beast. There’s a darkness in him. I’ve seen it face to face. He says I’m his light. But if our love is going to last, I’m going to have to be more than his princess. I need to become a Queen.
THREE: Neat By Kandi Steiner
My life is over.
I swore I would never work at the whiskey distillery with my last name on it, that I would never be a part of my father’s legacy. But when I graduated with my art degree and realized there were no jobs, the devil appeared, and I sold my soul, agreeing to work in the family business if he’d give me the art studio I’d always dreamed of.
It can’t be that bad, I thought.
Until I realized my new boss was Logan Becker.
The Becker brothers have a reputation for being trouble, and since I love trouble, it’s no surprise to me that I’m infatuated by that forbidden fruit the first day I walk into the distillery. That lean, whiskey-eyed, too-hot-for-his-own-good man hates me — and I can’t blame him. His family has been at war with mine for decades, and for good reason.
The Beckers and the Scooters are the Montagues and Capulets of Stratford, Tennessee.
But if he’s Romeo, and I’m Juliet? Well… we all know how that story ends — and for that reason, I tell myself to steer clear.
Because if my father finds out I’m falling for Logan Becker, my life actually will be over.
And Logan’s will be, too.
FOUR: Hated You Then By M. Robinson
From Wall Street Journal & USA Bestselling Author M. Robinson. A coming of age, enemies to lovers, contemporary romance filled with angst and all the feels.
I couldn’t remember a time before her… Harley Jameson.
Before she owned me. Hated Me. Needed me.
Before I hated her…
Things were simple. We had an understanding.
Bully. Fight. Hate. It’s what we did.
Mind. Body. Soul. It’s how we loved.
I thought nothing would ever change that, until everything did.
She was mine. Always had been. Always would be. Nothing altered that.
Not how much I hated her. Not how much she hated me.
Especially, not how much I hated…
That I LOVED her.
FIVE: Love Me Tomorrow By Maria Luis
They call her America’s Sweetheart. And me? I’m the so-called “inked god” she dumped on TV.
I’ve tried to forget her. I’ve tried to move on.
Until I discover that her family is opening a new restaurant next to my tattoo parlor.
If I were a gentleman, I’d offer my congratulations and go my own way. If I were a gentleman, I’d let her be… but I’m not.
Savannah Rose may claim I’m nothing more than a friend, but that slight hitch in her breath whenever I get too close says that America’s sweetheart is nothing but a liar.
All it takes is one scorching kiss, and I vow in her ear: “You’re going to beg. Beg me to touch you, beg me to give you more, and if you’re real good, maybe I’ll do it all over again before you have to beg for that too.”
I’m no gentleman. But Savannah Rose? She’s no one’s sweetheart but mine.
Love Me Tomorrow is the third book in the highly anticipated series, Put A Ring On It, and can be read as a complete standalone.

The Humor in this book gets me, and Kinsley and her unrequited crush just does my heart in. Conner is a guy who needed a reality check and got one.
How Kinsley talks herself into still believing this is all but a ruse to get under his families skin, and how she carries herself in the face of their frosty reception of her shows how amazing she is as a person.
Connor his character bothered me, in many ways. Mainly because I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone’s business, who you dates, who slept with who and who was on what drugs…. AHH Small Town living, such a great time.
In some ways it was like Connor never really left high school, where as Kinsley’s issues were fresh and more raw, Connor needed someone to take him out of that popular kid, high school mentality and Kins seemed to be that person. Whether she knows it or not, that is a completely different story.
This is my very first Ember Leigh book and I fell that I will be coming back for more.

can’t help it. My mind goes straight to sex. I’m 100 percent man and 50 percent

list of Bayshore-relationship activities.
The side of my body closest to hers is getting hot from curiosity. She’s not my

meant books. Because she is not a man beast who would already have her

** I WAS GIVEN THE ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST AND FULL REVIEW **
This Book gave me the feel from the start to finish, and then to find out it is part of a duet!? Made me so happy then broke my heart to wait all at the same time!
This is not my first book I have read by Emily Goodwin and I have yet to be disappointed by a book of hers. The synopsis is a bit misleading because it paints Alex as this cold person, when really you see him and what he is really looking for, it makes him such a great addition to the Book Boyfriend Club. Reading about him and what he does for Harper and her kiddos, his sister and her family, you see that he is merely a product of his upbringing and that makes me him more amazing. (Don’t Worry I wont spoil those, but when you see what I am talking about please let me know.)
Harper is strong determined mom, who is not afraid to accept help when it is offered to her. But at the same time will not take advantage of the kindness to those around her. I love her as strong leading lady, a great role model to her mother. I love how she was developed and is portrayed as human rather than this super human trying to do it all. I mean I am married mom of 2, I have help daily and the fact that she was written to be human and have breakdown, bad days and just dont give a shit days is amazing and great. More reason why I love Emily’s writing style because she write real, but in a way you can still fantasize…. If that makes any sense at all.
I am IN LOVE with the dynamic being developed between Harper and Alex, what I am not in love with is the way this one ended!
I love them because they make you want more and try and think of where this is going to go from here, but I hate them because not you have to wait for more…
I Do Highly Recommend this Book to anyone who loves a fluffy sweet, Office, Single Parent, Enemies to Friends To Lovers Kind of Romance.
“A sizzling, squirming, thought-provoking story of female growth.” – Caroline Kepnes, New York Times bestselling author
Tell Me Everything, a provocative do-not-miss novel from author Amy Hatvany, is coming November 5th and we have the gorgeous cover!
A happily married couple. A dance with a stranger at a bar.
One night—one seemingly insignificant choice—can change everything.
Jessica and Jake Snyder love each other, and their life together. Successful in their chosen careers, they reside in the picturesque, though at times stifling, Seattle suburb of Queens Ridge as they parent teenagers Ella and Tucker.
As so often happens in marriage, their romantic life falls casualty to busy schedules and repetitive routine, until one night, a stranger asks Jessica to dance. On a whim, Jake urges her to say yes, saying that he wants to watch this other man touch her, something that surprises Jessica by arousing her like never before. A door opens for them then, into a realm of exploration neither of them knew existed.
They create rules to protect their marriage, and are thrilled when their relationship is strengthened and enriched by deeper levels of communication and trust brought about by this exciting, but taboo behavior. That is, until Jessica keeps a secret from Jake and embarks on a tryst with an intriguing man from her past, who, when she tries to end things between them, decides to seek revenge.
What happens after that will threaten to destroy their world—and them.
A juicy and insightful look into the shifting definition of modern marriage and the limits placed upon female sexuality, TELL ME EVERYTHING will make you question everything you thought you knew about what constitutes marital bliss, and keep you turning pages into the night.
Amy Hatvany graduated with a degree in Sociology only to discover most sociologists are unemployed. Soon followed a variety of jobs – some of which she loved, like decorating wedding cakes; others which she merely tolerated, like receptionist.
In 1998, Amy finally decided to sell her car, quit her job, and take a chance on her passion: writing books.
Her background in sociology inspires and informs much of her work as she tackles timely and controversial issues in her novels including mental illness, domestic abuse, and alcoholism. She is published by Washington Square Press/Atria Books, and has been both a Target Book Club and Costco Pennie’s Pick.
Amy spends most of her time today with her kids and her second and final husband, Stephan. (Seriously, if this one doesn’t work out, she’s done, kaput, no more husbands!) When Amy’s not with friends or family, she is most likely reading, cooking, or zoning out on certain reality television shows. She eagerly awaits Bravo auditions for the cast of “Top Author.” (“Quick Edit” instead of “Quick Fire” Challenge? C’mon, producers! That’s gripping television!)
