Oliver Ice, one of Boston University’s notorious hockey players, has been on my radar since I slammed into his rock-hard body during my first week of college, three years ago. He helped me to my feet, muttered an apology, and ran off after his girlfriend, dashing my hopes of a happily ever after.
Now, he’s the bartender where I work, and this time, very much single. Night after night I watch the tall, broad, and sexy right winger mixing drinks and being Mr. Personality, while I remind myself how horribly my last relationship ended.
But when Oliver overhears a private conversation, he offers to be the one thing I need more than anything–my pretend boyfriend at a dreaded family reunion.
One weekend was all it was meant to be.
How do I protect my fragile heart when the lines between fantasy and reality blur with our first kiss?
** I WAS GIVEN AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW **
These Fake romance ones with the other person having real feelings for the other normally isn’t for me, because that is heartbreak waiting to happen in so many different ways. But this is was done so well and awesome, sweet and amazing.
There was some themes that bothered me for the sheer fact that it isn’t something I like, but they were so well woven in that they really didn’t bother me too to much.
Oliver is the perfect guy on paper and in real life and it makes him join the top 10 of my book Boyfriends… because if you know me, the brooding men top the top 5 of that list, the sweet and amazing ones are still on there but cannot beat the Brooding men.
If you like fake romance, little to no drama more realistic draws then I highly recommend this book for you!
