All avid readers have a To Be Read list and it seems to keep growing and growing no matter how many books we read in a month, it still grows. I have such a hard time remember what is on my To Be Read, mainly because I have been reading more and more series or intertwined books, then that leads me down another rabbit hole of books and then that changes my suggested books on my Kindle Unlimited Account, which creates even more fun books to go to.
I am an all over the place reader, but also with my life being budgeted right down to the dollar, a lot of the book on my TBR are not available on my Kindle Unlimited, so they are on my list until I have spare change on my Amazon account to buy them for a good read!
If you have read these books please let me know what you think about them, should I read them? What aspects of the books did you like, you didn’t like.
Winning My Best Friend’s Girl By Piper Rayne
The Bailey’s #8
Goodreads Rating: 4.00
TBR List Since: January 22, 2019
Well, this one is not out yet, and this is one of my most anticipated reads of this year. Piper Rayne is the author that I will credit on starting me on this book blogging journey, I was a blogger for 4 years prior and it was about being a mom and a parent of a Micro Preemie, but that first book opened doors for me and a whole new community that I have found more authors and friends.
I have been on the journey with all the Baileys since book one forever ago, and this one I have wanted to read mainly because the first 6 books you don’t really get a full insight of Kingston and who is really is what makes him tick. I finally got a glimpse of the real Kingston in Book 7, it just lit the fire in me for more. But I have to wait a few more weeks.
Rules For Dating your Ex By Piper Rayne
Goodreads Rating: 5.00
TBR List Since: January 22, 2020
After reading “Confessions Of A Worlds Worst Matchmaker” And “Bailey’s Babies” there was so much there that made the wait and lead up to this book almost unbearable. I am waiting and I am not patient about it either…. And since this is the last full length novel of the Bailey’s, reading “Best Friends Girl” is not going to make the wait any easier. The hints of how the story may or may not go is making me bounce on pins and needles at every little hint and clue dropped. I did have a theory about Sedona, and who she would end up with in Austins book, but I am thinking that I am way off, but who knows my gut has not guessed anything right yet.
Code Name: Genesis By Sayer Bennett
Jameson Force Security #1
Goodreads Rating: 4.05
TBR List Since: April 12, 2019
This is the prime example of what I want to read, this whole series and catalog of this author, but it is not on Unlimited and I already broke the bank on The Cold Fury and Vengeance books, I had to look into and make sure that I didn’t do that again….. I did get on a kick about former military and security books and I loved them, I love Sawyer Bennett and her writing style. I am also excited that later on in the series there is a mild Hockey cross over that just came out recently, those Fournier Kids are amazing and I really want to read this and see if there are glimpses at Max, who is my favourite character of Sawyer Bennetts and is in my top 10 Book Boyfriends of all time thus far. I am sure for my birthday I will get some Amazon cards to start this ball Rolling… well we can all hope!
Boss I Love To Hate By Mia Kayla
Goodreads Rating: 4.09
TBR List Since: April 22, 2019
I cannot remember how I came across this book, but I am sure it was shortly after I read 50 Shades of Grey again because it is about a playboy millionaire Boss. I believe this was a suggestion on one of my readers groups. I have never been big on the enemies to lovers, or the boss and employee relationships in books Those tropes have never really appealed to be but there is always the exception to the rule and the way that this book was presented to me I thought maybe I would like it and decided to add it to my TBR list. I am not 100% sure why I have not yet started this or added it to my Kindle to read.
I hope you enjoy what is on my TBR list for the last year. I know that I will get to them but as any avid reader knows there is always a chance more and more books may peek your interest before you get back to the TBR list.
