You might be wondering how you’ll know when your playboy ways are coming to an end. For some it might be an unexpected pregnancy (ahem… you know who), for others it might be finally landing the one woman you’ve always wanted (cough… I won’t mention any names). For me, it was the death of my mentor and the subsequent reading of their will.
The signs were there, they always are. But I didn’t notice them until it was too late, and my demise was complete.
Demise Sign #1 – You find yourself thrust into the land of responsibility and you don’t immediately hightail it out of town.
Demise Sign #2 – Despite being stuck with the world’s biggest Jekyll & Hyde, some sadistic part of you actually enjoys spending time with her.
Demise Sign #3 – Your family suddenly stops wanting to weigh in on every decision in your life.
Demise Sign #4 – Somehow you end up being the voice of reason in your tumultuous partnership.
Demise Sign #5 – You start thinking of other people before yourself.
Demise Sign #6 – You agree to put yourself in the middle of an Alaskan reality TV show that has both of you sleeping in the same tent.
** I WAS GIVEN AND ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW **
I was very much on the fence for this one after reading Savannah and Liam’s Story, I was very much against Denver and thought he was going to be the strangest and hardest story to get into, from where he was during Rome’s time to shine as well as Liams….
Glad to say that he has cracked the top 5 of my book boyfriends.. which seems to consist of A LOT of Piper Rayne Characters (#1 Garrett Single Dads Club, #2 Dom White Collar Cousins, #3 Jamie Outlander, #4 Tacker Arizona Vengeance, and #5 Denver #5 Baileys.)
I liked this book for so many reasons, you got to see more in the past couples and some parts make you feel so many feelings! I was sucked in right away, even though I went into this VERY apprehensive.
I love how they give you more insight into why Denver is they way he has always been, how big his heart truly is, and how he is kind of a big kid at heart still. I honestly love who is, and what brought him to how he is to this point, because it shows how much of a great person he is, and how the inner workings of his brain… well work.
I love that you also (FINALLY) get a bit more information on Kingston, as he seems to always be away playing firefighter hero. Now he has moved to the one that I am not sure if I am on pins and needles to learn more… or ya know… have another Denver Situation… BUT this isn’t about him…
I do recommend this book, even if you were like and a bit skeptical due to the picture that was painted before in previous books. You Will not be dissapointed!!
